Looking for a reference photo

    As I'm new to taxidermy I'm constantly trying to learn as much as I can. I used Frank Newmyers video on mounting a strutting turkey to begin my education of this sort. In his video he mentioned that he once removed the feathers from a live gobbler in order to see the shape of the body while strutting. This would also give one the opportunity to get a good look at how the feathers track while strutting. So has anyone ever saw a photo or have any of a strutting gobbler without or with minimal feathers (while molting)? I've been through the reference photos and don't see anything of the sort.

    Isn't that the North woods gobbler that I saw them hunting for on the Outdoor Channel? lol.

    I have some domestic toms that have been breeding (a lot!) and so they are completely bald underneath, but I don't think the bare areas are extensive enough to be of much help as reference. It's too cold around here to pluck one of them, besides, they are worth too much to chance hurting them.
