I love that piece Paul. Great fish mount of course :), but I especially like how the color of the rocks and the tips of the underwater vegetation can be found in the fish as well.

Though I haven't posted in quite a while, I'm still lurking every month and checking out everyone's fish. The level of talent some of you have is astounding. I am blown away by some of the work I see here. Awesome job guys! Makes me feel a little inadequate posting a commercial blank, but here it goes...

I completely agree! Your mounts are always top notch! And the soft paint job on that bass is very realistic.

    Thank you everyone.

No metallic bass green above the pattern, in fact there is no green at all. It's mainly bright yellow, paynes grey and dark brown with some light washes of yellow ochre and chocolate brown. Each scale was dry tipped with green/yellow powder, then wet tipped with a bright gold rub on thinned with mineral spirits. I just wish the camera could pick up the tippings.

Here is a 13 LB Largemouth Replica from Bev's Fish Creations. I used the Kick Krane DVD again for painting a LM Replica bass. I really enjoyed the process and detailed instruction. Customer wanted a pedestal mount.
    Thanks again Mr Krane
