Unusual Color Phase for a Rock Chuck???

    I've shot probably two dozen yellow bellied hoary marmot's (rock chuck) and seen at least 200 or more in the wild. Pretty much all of them I've ever seen look like this little guy in the first photo.

    Today I ran across this very blonde, large female. Is this rare or fairly common? I've never seen one this color before anyway.

    That is quite a bit different! Pretty too.

  4. I have seen a lot of rock chucks but never a blonde one.
    I would definitely mount that one.
