   What is the best way to get musk ox horns off to get the cone clean been trying for bit and have had no luck and i want to mount it this week thanks

   I know there are previous posts somewhere in the archives. You don't take them off. Just get the stuff out from around and under them as best as you can. I soak mine in borax after getting them as clean as possible and then fill the core with liquid plastic or resin to seal them up. Check the archives though.
