Hey I'm looking for info and someone to do an euro mount of a velvet buck. Not sure how to go about it and how to take care of the velvet and do a euro mount.

George The older I get, the better I was.

Just covered this last week. I do it in two parts. I remove the bottom jaw, and with a long bit, drill through the skull down into the antlers. I then cut the antlers off under the burr. The antlers go to the freeze drier and the skull gets macerated. When the antlers get back, tedrill the skull and antlers to accommodate a lag bolt. Smear elixir on the junction and up in the antler. Then screw them back together.
