Holy Smokes! Been bowhunting the past few days so I am just coming back to BOTW and what a treat to see all the phenomenal work you guys! What a week!!! Thanks for the compliments on the woodies everyone. Matt, here's one of my gadwall pieces. Not sure if it's the one your referring to or not but I'll put em up anyway. Keep it up everyone! Let's see some more!

    What a great week again.
Karin, I wonder that you can manage all that problem-woodcocks so as if they are easy to do, but I know that it is not like that with their thin skin.
MRN, as a waterfowler, that gadwalls are good as hell and as I told earlier, that woodies are the best ever seen, but where do you have all the place to set up birds with those habitats ?

snowhare that snipe was a test, hehe ;D

rai-red, i don't do miracles on the woodcocks, i just have 3-4 woodcock-hides in the freezer and when the bird is dry, I pluck the hides and glue the feathers in. sometimes i need to glue 100-200 feathers ::)
here is a picture from a black grouse hen that was shot in the neck, and i glued some feathers in. ;D before and after picture---->

a while ago I had to save a osprey for a museum, it was in very bad shape. all yellow from fat and smoke. I bleached it with hair bleach from my local hair salon ;D then tilted the head up a little and closed the wings more.

Jorlan - I love that Gadwall...very nice pose and composition. :)

Rai Red- Love all your work and looks like you've been busy. Shelduck is excellent. :)

Glass Eye - nice breast forward pose on that Gambel's...very nice piece. :)

Jim, I don't think it matters that you posted that cross duck up on both threads, folks always enjoy seeing your work no matter where it shines through. :)

Karin - WoW, excellent work all around. :)

TxOutdoors - I like the wing sweep on those Redheads Dan, very nice. :)

A special shout out to Eduardo. I'm very glad to see your work on BOTW again. :)

Lov2bhntn - George, I'm partial to deadmounts and that mix of diver and puddler came out so very nice. Great work as always. :)

What a great week for BOTW! Well, thank gawd it's Friday. See ya'll Monday. -Matt

What do you mean with Dos calvados por favore ??? :) :)

 Those who did used only physiologic saline to remove blood stains, and also use cornmeal to absover fat and some liquids.
