Well after a long week of little stuff, Mr. Ray said it was time for the big boy!

I got to crawl inside and bolt the two haves of the form together, just like the old museum elephants, lol

And yesterday I made the tail and sewed the first couple pieces on. This elephant was cut in 17 pieces.

This is what Ray and I got done today... I'll post more pictures later.

In what was in response to what does look like cardboard on the Elephant skin, 'WA' hinted to McKenzie they should start selling cardboard for all the carding many do to hold a skin in place. His post has since been deleted ... don't know why? At any rate, below was my response.

Why buy what you can get for free from any supermarket ... from ANYWHERE actually ... including the boxes used to ship supplies from the supplier to the Taxidermist? ;)

You know, I'm wondering if that is even actually cardboard on there. It is an Elephant after all ... so that very well could be something a lot heavier! Or not! LOL! Daniel ... care to elucidate?

Tiger says "roar" to you all, lol

I had to foam in a little bit more of a knee, and put some thick paste over it to make some nice wrinkles.
