I am a taxidermist that is not practicing at the moment. A family member took a nice buck last night so I agreed to mount it but need someone else to flesh and tan it. I bought a mule deer cape from a guy out west a few years ago - The guy did an incredible job of soft tanning it....best I have ever seen - Any idea who that would be? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
    Best, Mike

Not trying to be rude but if your a taxidermist why don't you flesh the cape out yourself then send it out to any reputable tannery. Trying to find the same person that tanned a hide for you few years ago could be next to impossible unless you still have contact info. But if you had that info then you would not be asking. So my suggestion is to spend a couple hours and flesh it out, as it is your responsibility now that you offered your services to a family member to mount the deer. Good luck and enjoy,
