Black Timber Rattler and Squirrel Mount

    No timbers in Arizona......

    There aren't any timber rattlesnakes in Arizona. That looks to be a Arizona Black rattlesnake (Crotalus cerberus). It is also illegal in Arizona to kill non-game animals.

    And I suppose squirrels don't ride snakes in Arizona.. or do they? Hummm...

    Could be a southern pacific? What you can see of the pattern kinda resembles one I mounted recently. :-\

    The Arizona Black.......

    The Arizona Black rattlesnake is legal to harvest in Arizona....but the chipmunk/Douglas squirrel is not.
