  7. Awesome job, I would have mounted the horn a little higher up though almost to the ear level, like they do in the movies LOL For a name how about Demitrious, sounds sort of greek mythologically

Very nice....Chinese legend meets Greek mythology.

I would name it: Alicorn or Unipeg (which are the common names for the creature)

Looks like we are the only two in agreement so far on Unipeg. Makes me nervous being on the same wavelength with you.

Look up unicorn and pegasus on Wiki or something. There are names for the hybrids, unisis I beleive is one of them.

I'd point out that the musculature and skeletal structures needed for wings aren't there, but I'd also admit that that would probably take a good bit of modification to the hide to make it fit.

Co'mon gifted . It's kinda hard to find reference okay?
It's not some competition piece, it's something to make a few grand on in a days work. They don't have wings okay. It was just something fun to do on a day off and make some money.

Looks great Dennis. Did you have to bleach any part of the hide, or was it naturally that white? it's beautiful, I bet Ringling Bros. would love a piece like that!

nice. I have been planing to do a unicorn head mount for a while, although I have not yet been able to source any white horse heads, which is kind of a vital part! personaly I think the horn is in the right place, but I would not have done it clear. when I do mine I plan to use a replica narwal tusk. as said by plenty of others, the common name for that hybrid is usualy a unipeg.

i'm not sure what modifications you'd do. with a winged horse there are two humeri and only one scapula (on each side). so long as the wing's humerus is positioned above the scapula, which it seems to be, i think it's pretty darn good.

    * send me a PM when you have a price in mind.

thanks, and great work as always!
