We first saw the buck we called " superbrow" in june, we got a trail cam pic of him on the back side of our soybean plot... As the summer went on, we started seeing him in the big bean field up the hill... He dissapeared after september, but made a mistake yesterday evening, when my cousin laid him down at 45 yards.

First and only trail cam pic of him... buck on right.

Ive been here for several years too, and all he ever posts about is hunting... nothing wrong with that... but this is a taxidermy forum. And no, i am not trying to be, just a simple question.

Nice deer, I just wish he would smile in his photos, his girl has a pretty smile but he looks like he hates the world.

We all give him hell, but he's one of the 'family' so we can ;)

Much rather see a kid in the woods than on the street.

    Re: And the story ends...

One reason i havent started taxidermy is i really cant afford the supplies to practice right now... i dont have the extra money to buy the forms and stuff just to make a first mount that will look like it got hit by a semi and set on fire... i could spend it on better things... like gas to get to school lol

Nice deer Buckmaster! If you want to do taxidermy, then do taxidermy. You have to start somewhere. I can only speak for myself, but my first mount looks terrible. I still have my first hanging in my shop... a spike that was a road kill. And the spikes aren't even symmetrical. I have found during my lifetime that we tend to afford the things we want to afford. Put back a little now and then. Do an odd job here and there. You will get there.
