First Deer need alittle help plz.

    My cape is 6 1/2 and 17 1/2 i cant find a 17 1/2 form found 17 ,18 neck form any tips ? Thank you

    Good advise, but make sure you have accurate measurements. Over stretching to force onto an oversized form will make aligning the skin a problem and lead to drumming. On the other hand, customers hate a pencil neck. I take my measurements from the tanned cape. Give it a good stretch by hand ( wet of course ) and see where you're at. Good luck

    Its better to down size .
     
  7. Make the form fit the skin, instead of looking for the perfect fit. I would make the 18" form 17 1/2" doesn't take much to do so.
