I'm trying the Trubond 1000B on a piece of deer hide.

When I ordered the TruBond, I also ordered the Lubristretch Oil as it said it's recommended for all back hides.

At what point in the process do I add the lubristretch oil? I looked on the truBond website, and I read where it said that the Trubond 1000B was a tan and oil in one, so a little confused?

    Thanks

    Justin,
The TB1000B does a great job on it's own. It does do it all in one step.

However with some of the heavier hides such as dee, bear, elk, etc I also swab with the LS1000 when the hide is about 80% dry.
The Lubri Stretch 1000 can be cut as much as 4 parts water to one part oil. It goes a long ways.

  4. Happy New Year- hey Justin, for whatever it is worth, I have used pretty much every tan there is for in house use. I am NOT dissing anyone, but the Truebond products are the best by far.
