    aussiesam I'm an Australian.

Hi guy, been a while and I have a question for you.

Any of you have a trick for skinning around the ear/cheek areas on these sorts of animals? (I'm lucky if i can get a scalpel in between the horn and body on some of them)

I seem to make a mess, curse a lot and end up fighting with the darn things while skinning these and was wondering if i was missing something.

    (btw happy new year).
  2. Practice.

Make your cut to one horn (not Y, IMO its easier to sew this way, Cut from horn to horn, JUST to the back of the ridge at the front where the horns are closest together, cut straight down at the hair/horn line around the horn then Peel. Should come off quite easy, even on TIGHTLY curled horns.
