Wow great fish this month! Love the brown trout.
Beautiful work already and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it this month. Finally time for some fish mounting in my shop. Here's a 22 in. rainbow skin mount from me.
A 9" Gillie I just wrapped up.
Supreme the fish reference photos Josh. When i will be judge - i say: yes!yes!yes! Go to final! Unbeliveble work.
Excellent work guys!
I have not posted for a while so here goes,
Cool redfish Gus. Nice fish everyone. here's whats going on around my garage.
17" Lane Snapper . Blank from New Wave
20" Black Sea Bass (new wave) 25" Black Sea Bass (rick hardy)
Josh I'm not sure if that gill is mounted or just laying there after being fresh caught I can't ever remember seeing a more realistic one,Mike that lane is spot on great job.
Daniel,beautiful sekavec !!
JK- that BG is simply SUBLIME!
I love how the pecs and pelvics are slicked down right up tight against the body- NICE TOUCH!
Nice Gill mount Josh! Absolutely luv it! I would say you nailed It.
Super work everyone! I am inspired. Josh's gill looks like it might flip from the wall. Mike's salt water fish are great. I don't even know what they are. Back in 1973 when I first visited Fort Lauderdale, Pfluger had displays at the docks for advertising. Marine painting sure has advanced tremendously. Gus, great job on the redfish.
15 years of freezer burn! :-\
If I was ever in doubt, I am no longer .......
Josh specializes in "still life" photography - that is photos from life - simply trains his live fish to stay still for photo ops.
No way they are mounts ................
Another great month of exceptional talent chaps and chapettes
Gill is tight Josh....nice......and excellent work Timjo, Steve, Rich, Matt, and Mike to name a few. I really like the vibrant colors and details Mike. And super striper Todd....
Awesome work so far I get so inspired when I get a chance to get on here. Josh I would have to say that gill is as good as I have seen. You really nailed the blue and face colors. Here are some of my replicas I have been working on the last couple weeks for some customers. The first picture is of a 17" Crappie I molded for comp last year. The second picture is of a 10" bluegill I just finished and to show the size of the specks.
These are a couple of my 11" Brook Trout I made up for some of my fur buddies. Complete with hot glue guts and paint brush bristle bones.
A bunch of 12" Bluegills I have been working on for a big project. That's a lot of prep work.
Awesome fish this month!!!
Just another commercial bass for me. Tryin out the cell phone pic.
