    I am just a hobbist.
this was only my seventh mount ever. My first raccoon, as well as my first lifesize.

I think it's just the one picture but looks like one ear leans forward and one is tipping backwards. But not bad at all!!! Looks pretty good!

thanks everyone for the nice comments. I think the camera played a trick with the ears...they look equal in person.

"Hey Joe! Whatcha doing down there with that gun in your hand?" lol

That's one of the best first mounts I have seen.

Thanks Rick for the nice comments. I was expecting everyone to pick me apart. I do see a couple of things that are a little off, but I am trying to learn.

IMO the nose is pointing up too much. Looks good.

buckmaster...I agree, after looking at this mount daily since finishing it, I did get the nose wrong a little. I think it is a little too sharp as well as turned up slightly. Maybe I will get it right next time.

  13. very nice job Joe.

Nice work Joe. Just a though about pictures. More than once I've spotted problems in my photo that I missed looking at the real deal, especially symmetry. When I looked closer, the pics weren't lying!:) Don't know if that's the case here, but worth a look. Keep up the good work!
  15. pretty nice, congrats
