It's water season here.
lol that's a bunch-o rats damon! man i just love beaver skulls. think one of these days i am gonna have to dip one just for fun though.
Yeah, I've got a love hate relationship with these things. Some of them are over 6" long and came form beaver well over 60 lbs.
........and below? those are otter right? you trapping all these seems like a bunch of fur skulls. i don't do that many fur bearer. mostly antlered or predator
Are those otters in your last shot?
I am slowing down for the year, buffalo and kitties are all that are coming in, here are a few odds and ends that are getting close to going home:
Last deer just bugged, not degreased.
hey dog, i see you cut quite a bit of core off on you horned critters. probably one of the most important things you can do, hope some of the newer guys notice that in your pictures. lots of skulls in your place, that's good.
Yah those are otters. The one on the right has some cool black stained teeth. I'll do whatever comes my way but i prefer articulating full skeletons, especially reptiles. Anyhow here is a couple bear currently in cleaning. The two on either side are about average for black bears but the one in the middle is a bit of a monster, He's got teeth like a hockey player to. that's a 12" ruler.
Last week I finished up 3 brown bears, 7 black bears, 4 fox, 1 coyote, and a half dozen oro so beavers..
Heres a few average sized black bears and a 27" brown bear..
Locked skulls before....
Locked skulls after....
That's a nice piece scw. I like it not being extremely white bone too.
Finishing these up.
those look good brooks, nice job and that one definitely got some character to it.
