I just received my first ram for mounting and need advice.

The animal came to me with very matted hair...is there a way to detangle or should I cut them out?

Any suggestions on separating the horns for cleaning. I have heard boil and not boil?

Double bag the horns and rot them off. Be prepared for one of the most terrible smells known to man. Add a little water to the bag and give it a couple of weeks. A lot of times the matted hair will pull out by hand.

  4. For my horn removal I use my skull cleaner for 10 $ he puts in with his nettles and dose it for me and no smell worth the money in my opinion
