First time life size coon

    Been wanting to mount a bug male coon I got a couple months ago, and need to know the best way to skin it, do I case or is there another way, thanks for any info

    its personal preference... I prefer to dorsal mine. .Then I just put them on a form like pulling on jammies...

    Thanks for the info, I want him laying on a branch , with his right front and rear leg hanging over, like he's lazy

    X2 on the Dorsal cut..I have skinned out a few of coons and it seams to be the easiest, but that could be perception. A winter coon has hair long and thick enough 'especially on the back' to hide even the uglyest stitches. Watch the feet, around the toes gets a little tricky because of the 'thumb' that they have. I always cut through right there..
