Just starting my first snow goose and am to the fleshing part and I have read to use scissors and wire brush for the fleshing as i do not have a wheel. Does it matter what type of wire brush, is brass better? Also does the size matter? Should I use a small one such as the ones in gun cleaning kits or does it matter at all. I feel as if its too large it will tear holes. Well thanks in advance, Matt

  2. A smaller size might be easier to manage but holes will likely still happen unless you are real careful. Local hardware stores usually have small brushes real cheap that will come in a variety of materials. I've bought three packs with steel, brass, and plastic bristles that work well for a variety of needs. Something like these...
