I took a wet tanned Mule Deer cape out of the freezer and finished prepping and thinning, now its back to working long hours for a few weeks. I assume it will stay good for a long time but have to ask, How long can I leave a wet tanned cape in the fridge without any problem. I don't want to re-freeze it.

For a few weeks? Just put it back in the freezer. Why is that a prob? It would be ok for a while, but who can definitively say how long? Why take an unneccessary risk?

Thanks for the advise, My time away from work is limited so I wanted it ready if and when I got a day off, but it sounds like I better freeze it. Thanks for the info.
