western diamondback rattle snake

    Hey CountryLife. I would try Snaketan to rehydrate: http://www.snaketan.com/Pages/Snaketan.html
    You can buy it from Van Dykes but it's expensive, about $32 quart. But the skin needs to be submersed in it for at least a day or two. I had one that was hanging on the garage wall for years and tried it. It became pliable but not mountable, but that may have been because it had hung for so many years. Joe
     
  4. Ok thanks a lot . I'm worried on loosing scales. It's about 2 yrs old and is stiff but not britle. Rolls up Easily but only a loose roll
