Thanks! Here's a "custom" coon.
my first full body black bear, my dog loves him
Nice work everyone, I like the unique custom poses on the raccoon, opossum and javelina!
Haha, I was slacking. I think I did better these past two weeks...
14 foot Croc
Bilberry Goat, Connemara Black Face Sheep and Four Horn
And another AWESOME moose. I really want one of these someday!
60" and the antlers are detachable
Sorry not all are lifesize
Wow Daniel, it would take me a month alone to sew all that up, I suck at sewing, at least in a reasonable time frame.
2 Snow Leopards... Customer only wanted the heads mounted...Should have been Life-size...
Let me just say, really gorgeous work guys! Randi, love how the possum and raccoon work with the room. I might have to get a possum like that to hang from my ceiling, just to freak people out :
Geeze... I don't know if I feel more motivated to become a better taxidermist after seeing most of those mounts... Lol or just give up!!!
The possums and coons are easy to come by here, so that's what I'm learning on. Just started Taxidermy. The room has over 30 mounts, but all but a few were done by our Professional Taxidermist, who has Cancer and can no longer work. When my wife and I found out he was sick we decided to try it ourselves. I will get to retire in a couple years, and it looks as though this will be a great time consumer! Thanks for your comments.
For those of you just starting out, I can tell you that the best thing you can do is just jump in and mount....experience really is the best teacher. This was my 3rd coon to mount.... and my 8th specimen ....the first four never made it past the tanning process.
just a few of mine that im kinda proud of.The tahr and chamie are my very first....
Started another squirrel this one is a red squirrel.
very nice work every1
Love the bear Justin!!!
Justin , the bear came out fantastic...

Justin, I know it's not front and center but I love the mountain lion attacking the deer in the back of that one photo. Gab, yours is also great. So much excellent work guys!
Just finished up this Ringtailed Lemur. Wrapped body.
That bear and coyote are super sweet Justin!
