Those are some out standing cats!

 

First time post for me. I'm just a hobbyist who does taxidermy for fun and to relax. Brother-in-law (U Michigan graduate) requested the mount. Wrapped body, carved head, artificial jaw set. Apologies in advance to any Ohio State fans. Gary

 

First Nutria Rat. It was a roadkill. Had some road rash on one side so I put that cedar stump up against there to hide it. After I mounted it, it looked like he could be holding a sign, so I cut out a few and sealed then so we could write on them and wipe them off. My first attempt at habitat too.

 

Cool mounts! Yes some pretty cats! Wish I got the opportunity to mount more big cats...

 

What a great group of mounts to view. Vellu the bear has some pretty colors to it. The lynx is well done as are so many posted here. The Ibex is certainly different but the client pays the bills. Nice taxidermy though! Cole , I wish I had half your ability with the camera and editing and the kitty is just right.

Black squirrel I did today the guy shot it or hit it and the left eye was really bad so I did the best I could and will try to finish it out when it is dry it was a very beautiful squirrel with the color and fur.

Did a fox squirrel today.It was a 13.5 inches from tip of the nose to the tip of the tail.
