Grave wax

  1. Whens the best time remove it after maceration or after degreasing?

Both. Scrub off what you can with detergent before degreasing. Scrub again during and after degreasing.

Nylon brush and your good, it's pretty easy to remove death wax.
  4. I usually wait after a few water changes, then keep scrubbing at it each change until its all off.
  5. I have some wax on bobcats (concentrated at skull sutures), soaking them in Dawn about 1 month, but didn't scrub it yet. The skulls were falling apart from the beginning, so it was better to not to disturb them much - just changing water.
How does the wax affect the degreasing process? If a spot is covered by wax, Dawn won't get under it, right?
