Bands - Clean or As-is

    When you mount a banded bird, do most of you try to clean up the band any or just leave it like it is? I've got one to do & I'm trying to decide if I should use some metal cleaner on it or leave it like it is.

    I leave it as it is, will clean any blood that may be on it.

    As full fan said if there is blood on it I would clean that off and leave the patina alone.
