another yote - a black one - alcohol tanned
A large coyote that is ready to be picked up. Critiques welcome!
My best, Jim
everybody - nice yotes
Very nice coyote Jim, he looks alive.
Jim great yote.! Did you alter a form. for position? this is my latest yote.
No alterations on this dog. I think it is a McK. form. Biggest one I could find. Was a real nice fur to work with. Guy shot it with a slug gun. Repaired well. I am starting to like the mammals though birds are still #1 in my book.
My best, Jim
NICE yotes everyone
another growly yote - made to be viewed from across a room so it looks like it is snarling as you walk into the room
bobcat on elk antler - this is one of my most popular mounts
You all have great coyotes and bobcat. Is that a caracal you've got in the background, oldterryr?
yes there is a caracal in backround - it needs finished up - i have to redo tail - it goes with a red fox i mounted earlier
Oh cool, I don't think I've ever seen a caracal mounted, can you post a picture when it's finished if you don't mind?
I mounted a caracal for a seminar, unfortunately i only have one picture and its of me sewing it up. i can post a pick for you Silverwolf if you would like, but its nothin special.
the one antler looks a littel funny
It took me a second, but I see what you mean. At least he looks happy to see everybody
The Bobcat on antler has an un-relaxed (un-natural) look. Back legs and tail are sticking straight out as if one of the tines has jabbed it in the gut. Very stiff look. Face looks good Though.
you are not seeing all of the tines on antler supporting different appendages thus the stiff look - tail will be repositioned too - aprreciate the input though
Sure if you'd like to post it. I just think it's neat to see african animals, you don't see them everyday, especially cats.
