I normally do not work on pets, not because they are difficult, but because I would not make a good grief counselor. This one is different because it was to help a fellow taxidermist who is very busy. PS-This is a huge dog! For this job, I carved the form from foam and molded the mouth and tongue with Oomoo silicone. It was not too difficult, except that the skin let out quite a bit, and unlike a deer, you cannot just make the form bigger to accommodate for it. I worked very hard on it, and hope that the owner is so happy when he gets it back.
