Just so everyone knows. I'm going through the information that was released to Fred and I from the NTA attorney. What you see here cost about 35K but it think it may be worth it. From first inspection, it seems that 0, nada, nothing, zilch CASH was deposited in the convention account in 2005 and only about $3600+- in 2006!! REALLY!!! I don't think the Crains need to be suing anyone.... I'm putting all of this into the program as we speak.... There are other surprises that I will disclose later!!!

Also, this is the information that was supplied to the authorities so if it is incorrect then there is a problem, and it's not mine!!!!

  10. 2005. Was that the year that someone was lying on their back in the NTA suite throwing cash up in the air? Oops. I need to go to sleep.

  11. Thank you for all your much valued work Harry.

  12. THANK YOU HARRY, I would not want to be doing your job, My mind went bonkers just trying to make sense of the checking & tax returns.

Now please tell us again just HOW much CASH came in this year ? I think it was up in the $14,000 range. Hmmmmmmmmm

This reminds me of a local town judge near me. He "lost " over $45,000 And he was the only one in charge of that account. He claimed after 14 yrs he was not taught of how to keep books?????? LOL. To this day he has not been charge, His books are so bad the state has giving up, as the town paid the state. Now the town is trying to get money back,,, Never gonna get it. Its been going on for over 5 years.
I just hope the same does not happen to the NTA.
Where some Dumb A#@ says I didn't know what I was doing.

ps: many thanks to the Board also.

You guys have done a great job of taking out the trash and cleaning up one hell of a stinking mess caused by the Louisiana clan. I hope the NTA does not make a deal with the Crain's like, "We will drop charges if you don't suit us". They need to be charged and do some prison time for whatever you call it, grand theft, embezzlement, fraud, etc. or maybe all of these. Is there anyway to get a lien against their home, boats and any other real property while all this is going down so MAYBE the NTA can recover part of what was stolen from them?

I am a former member so maybe I don't have the right to post this since I have no stake in it but I am sure there are plenty of member who are thinking exactly what I am.

    Where was the 2005 convention?

The 2005 Convention was in Sioux Falls. Per the 990's of that fiscal year the Convention grossed $60,952. Just for comparison, the next year at Billings, the Convention grossed $111,442. Almost twice as much. Just for conversation sake, the 2005 Convention Gross Profit as reported by Headquarters was $40,532 thus making total Convention expenses $20,420. The 2006 Convention in Billings had Gross Profits as reported by Headquarters at $33,483 making Convention expenses at $77,959!!!!!!!! How in the World can a convention cost almost $78K???????????? We will find out as soon as I get all of this into the program. Supposedly, per the coversheets of the information that I have received, all of the receipts are enclosed...We will see!

I was there too. I remember thinking what a waste of Tim sitting through all the board meetings. It was quite evident there were more than a few who didnt care what affiliate states had to say. The year after was even worse.

  18. No more affiliated states!!!!!!! That was done away with a few years back!!

Very good question breiner11. George Roof is sticking his nose into this when he has no business of doing so. Just so everyone knows, Fred and I have stepped back to see how things are going to play out. NOBODY has performed the duties that were voted on by the Board at the Convention with respect to the financials of the NTA. NOBODY except me that is. If individuals aren't going to do the will of the Board then I won't be a part of it. It seems that Fred and I were simply USED to pull off the show. That won't happen again. I can't really figure out what Georgie's interest is in this but we will figure it out soon. I just want everyone to know that whatever happens to the NTA, Fred and I are still in pursuit of figuring out the financials. Currently, I have information for the Convention Account from 2005 until present as well as Headquarters for the same time period. All the other accounts I have from 2007 to present. Just another little tidbit, on 6/23/05 Greg Crain wrote himself a counter check for $10,000.00 out of the Convention Account. From the information provided, there is no supporting documentation that he paid any invoice or that there was any expense that warranted him taking out $10K!!! Is it regular practice for the ED to write himself checks?? Just asking, maybe George knows.
