I have a would-be client that spent $$$$ to catch a nice alligator gar I was to mount. The so-called "guide" has been nothing but trouble for him. Charged him $250 to skin it, and I have yet to get the skinned fish. The poor guy went so far as to hire an attorney to help, but neither the attorney nor DNR can do anything about it. So....I if you plan to got to Texas and hire Kirk Kirkland as your guide, you might want to think twice about it. He has been nothing but a jacka$$ about the entire situation. Just a butthead alert for all of us.
