    Question:
Do you charge extra for a deer shoulder mount in velvet?
If so. approximately how much extra?

It all depends on if the antlers/ velvet are still growing or not. If the antlers are hard and velvet not growing I just rub DP on them and let them dry to the antlers, never had a problem with this method but it won't work on still growing velvet/ antlers and I don't charge for this. If not " hard horned" and velvet is still growing then it depends on what the customer wants. Injected with a preservative would cost the amount of preservative and my time. If they want them freeze dried then the cost of that with shipping and my time to deal with them and if they want me to scrape them and send out for artificial velvet then I would charge accordingly. Hope this helps some.
