Discussion in 'Deer and Gameheads' started by paulke6, Sep 10, 2013.

  1. would a 90 degree scimitar form for for a addax with some changes in the facial areas work or would it be easier to completely alter a addax form from the couple that are out there. need the horns to clear the wall

  3. scott,
I've used elk forms cut down, because you get more shoulder/brisket on the mount, you will have to change the head obviously, if time isn't an issue, and it usually is I try to make all of my scimitar-horned and addax mounts originals, you could also chop several older forms to get the base pose also, this is a lot of work but the end results are always worth it.
  4. had similar question and did research on almost this exact issue last year. After much comparison, i decided the oryx forms just were too different to exchange without lots of altering. I'd go with addax and modify it.
