bobcat- nose molded in form

Discussion in 'Lifesize Mammals' started by buck_wild, Sep 17, 2013.

  1. I've noticed on a couple of the newer forms that it appears the noses are molded into the form- sorta like a reproduction nose but molded into the foam. I assume the sculptor is giving you the option of using it as is ?? Do folks do this? Is the foam strong enough to withstand a possible bump in the finished product without breaking or caving in? I have been sanding them down to the "normal" style for over skin mounting.

I don't . They do a good job but like you said to easy to damage . For no more than they cost a good reproduction nose gives you a better looking nose . Easy to install . No shrinkage . I use Ozark Woods .
