150 pound tom with reflective eyes finished

    Just finished this nice tom up on Friday. Got to use reflective eyes in it. yes!!!!! those just make a piece pop. I love those eyes.

    He looks naked without his whiskers. Where did you get the eyes? He's going to look great when done, very good pose.

    thank you!!! ill post another pic when hes painted and whiskered. I don't know where my boss gets those eyes, but I love them.

    That is beautiful; love the eyes. Do you just glue in the whiskers after it is mounted?

    a little super glue holds the whiskers in for good and you can place them how ever you like it works very well.

    There's a man on this site that sells those eyes. I've seen them up close they are amazing. His name is Dennis and he's know as * on this site I think.

    Thanks for the info! I was wondering about this.

    Whiskers are taken out if/when you want to get the face skin really nice and thinly fleshed/shaved. (correct me if I am wrong.)

    yup! clipping the roots of them will make them pull out then to be put in later to give it a more uniform look, if not they dry towards the cheeks and don't have that full whisker look.

    i love the reflective eyes. I know there are some people who used them on this site, I'm sure a search would find them.
