first swan

    I just mounted my first swan and there are several places where the feathers are dirty. What would be the best way to get these stains out being that its mounted and mostly dry now.

    The best way was during your wash/rinse phase... You can try Whinks to get out any stain in the feathers..

    It is a rust remover.. You can usually find it with the liquid plumber and such items. That being said, I've switched to a product called Rust a way... sold in a large red gallon jug bought at home depot or lowes. Much more economical and does the same job.

    denatured alcohol saturate and rub with borax on a tooth brush...gently blow dry with your airbrush

  7. I use a product called Iron Out. It's a rust remover and can be found at Home Depot and Ace Hardware.
