Yost tannery does hair off leather. unless you want to do it yourself. I think Van Dykes has a hair off tanning kit.

Don't try it on a customers skin. You try a deer skin yourself first, then you will know why it is best to send this job out. Even with the kit, you will get sub par results. Yost turns out great leather in a half dozen colors, charge the customer a handling fee for prepp and shipping on top of the Yost price, and put a little fat in there for you too.

To do it yourself, you will need a tub big enough to make a lime bath to soak the skin in. The stronger the lime, the faster it works, not all of the hair will fall out, you will have to scrape it off, there is always stubborn hair that will not come out that will need more soak time (two days) you will need rubber gloves at all times, the lime will burn, and don't dare splash it in your eye. Now after a week of playing with it, you now have a hairless skin that needs de-limed. So now you have to buy ammonia to soak it in, then you have to remove the ammonia, now you can pickle, shave, neutralize and tan. And don't forget the toxic pile of deer hair, and tub of lime to get rid of. Sounds fun doesn't it.
