Looking a lot on line but don't see much on cotton tail rabbits! Can I dry tan a rabbit for mounting or should I use my vacuum tanner with aluminum sulfate, salt, and softening oil? Thanks

By "dry tan I assume you mean DP. A dry tan is a wet tan that has been dried and finished out soft. DP is not a dry tan. Any tanning method used on any critter will work on a rabbit. DP,or pickle and "paint on tan, pickle and submersible tan, alum, synthetic , Krow-tan,etc... I'm doing one soon in a pickle then Liqu-tan. It's up to personal preference and how much work you want to do when DP will work fine.
