Cape stretcher plans plz

  1. I am wanting to build one with a hydraulic jack to put my capes on while I prep the form and do last min stuff I seen one with looks to be 2-3 foot rods but need the other measurement as far as height on the total and where to place the rods any help would help a lot thank in advance

    Why would you need a cape stretcher? Do you have girly arms?

    Here is mine...built from 1 1/2 tubular steel that is 3/16" thick. Used a 2 ton jack from WalMart. I don't "stretch" capes, I relax them after bondoing ears and inserting ear butt clay. Cape comes off the stretcher and slips right over the mannikin.
