Bear Wet Tanning

First Off, Im not a hidemaster or I wouldn't be asking for advice, just like the name. Im out of southern VA and been tanning my deers for 5 years. I use McKenzie products on my deers and paying the cost for tannery work eats my profits up, Im sure its a reason why everybody sends their fur off to a tannery but wanted to see if anyone has tried to wet tan a bear, fox etc before destroy a good cape experimenting.

Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Thanks
