    Was in skint out properly?
    I forgot the past tense too, skun.
    Skint is a UK slang for being broke or bankrupt, pennyless.
    As in educationally broke.

    The good old South just loves to bastardize the English language.
    Just turn on the boob-tube, they need subtitles so viewers can understand what the Hell they are saying.

    How about the misuse of the words "to", "too", and "two" AND "there", "their", and "they're". Spell Check won't correct them!

    I'm with Jerry; "I seen" sends a shiver up my spine everytime. I seen this doe come over the ridge . . . . arh!!
    You're and your get me too. You're is short for " you are"(as in you are doing something) and "your" is possessive (your dog). It all I can do not to correct people. Sorry, my wife is an English teacher and professional proof reader. I am not but some of it trickles down.
