    Classy pose but I can not help wondering what gauge wire is small enough for the leg and stiff enough to support the weight of the bird for that pose. Ed

    12ga would do it, especially with a lightweight foam body and maybe a few other weight-saving modifications.

    Another option is to cast the leg and pre mold the wire into the repro

    You can easily put 12-11 g in a crow leg. Just sharp wire well and don't catch any tendons on it during driving wire.
