A Steelhead Tail bust carved from Basswood and Tupelo...
Wow. That is really nice.
Good idea, good work, good woodcarver
What a nice piece
Is it for sale?
Love it! Very Artsy and clever! Beautiful work my friend !
Very artistic and different. That is definitely one of the neatest carvings I've seen in a while.
Yes...very artsy! I like your fish busts....alot!
color me impressed ;D ;D ;D
I would never have considered doing just that section of a fish woodcarving but that is sculpturally beautiful. Nicely done!
We have worked on some category modifications for the next World Show Fishcarving championships. There will be a category to enter pieces like this or like the head busts you've done in the past. I sincerely hope you'll make it to the show or mail in some entries.
When will the new categories be announced?
Awesome! Thank you for sharing!
That info should be out soon, hopefully in the next Breakthrough. The rule changes open some things up and make the rules less confusing. I think they will be a vast improvement.
It's not often I let out a "wow" but your piece is beautiful! Now that is something I would put on my desk! I like it very much; about how much time did you invest into that?
That is kool.
If you sell or charge a customer for something like that I sure hope you don't undercompensate yourself. Too many times I see gifted artists like yourself that charge far below what they should and pretty much give away their time.
A truly beautiful piece of art!
