    Very artistic and different. That is definitely one of the neatest carvings I've seen in a while.

    I would never have considered doing just that section of a fish woodcarving but that is sculpturally beautiful. Nicely done!
    We have worked on some category modifications for the next World Show Fishcarving championships. There will be a category to enter pieces like this or like the head busts you've done in the past. I sincerely hope you'll make it to the show or mail in some entries.

    That info should be out soon, hopefully in the next Breakthrough. The rule changes open some things up and make the rules less confusing. I think they will be a vast improvement.

    If you sell or charge a customer for something like that I sure hope you don't undercompensate yourself. Too many times I see gifted artists like yourself that charge far below what they should and pretty much give away their time.

    A truly beautiful piece of art!
