I'm soaking a WT cape in an acid bath right now and the pickle has turned a white milky color. Should I be alarmed?
The milkiness occurred within hours of adding the cape. My pH has stayed right where I need it. I'm using 3oz citric and 1# salt per gallon of water. Same water, same container as always. This is a fresh pickle I mixed just for this one cape. Been doing this the same way for six seasons now. Never gotten milky acid pickle. I often get the rust color from blood present near bullet holes but no biggy there. Any thoughts?

It could be from dirt not sur but min will turn that color to a brown color but as long as my salt is right and the Ph is right I don't worry.
