Someone in new hampshire wants a white tailed hawk mounted cause it hid the window of their house and died. I know i should contact the fish and game which i will but they are off today so i figured id post here and see if any of ya have ever mounted one or know any of the laws on them. If you are out of nh i am still curious as to the laws of your state.
    Thanks,
    Gary

legally, it's a no-no.. not for an individual. A school or museum with proper permits to possess would be fine if you possess a migratory bird permit.

Now.. onto the other question at hand..

White-tailed hawk are a native mexican speices which do periodically range into south Texas. Finding one in NH is WAY WAY WAY out of range, and the bird should probalby be turned over to the DNR as I'm sure it would be a first for the state. Someone somewhere would probalby like to have the animal preserved for scientific reasons. It is definately a Rarity for NH
