Looking for 20" Closed Mouth LM Bass blank

Discussion in 'Fish Taxidermy' started by outdoorsmn2009, Jan 2, 2014.

  1. Anyone have a mold for a 20" x 14-15" girth Closed Mouth (or just slightly open) LM Bass replica or know where to find one. Any help much appreciated.

I just pulled tape. Its 21'' on the backside curve, and 16'' girth. CM, CG.

I bought one from Josh Knuth in that range.

  5. My customers fish was actually 19.5" long, so 21" is probably a just little bit long.

If you measure the front, inside curve its 19''. I have it available to cast up if you need it. If not, keep it in mind for future reference .

19" show and 21" back means it's a 20" fish Ken. I'm sure this blank would be fine if you're worried about a customer complaining about it being a 1/2" long. You never can go wrong going a bit big anyway. If anything, they'll probably STILL complain that their fish was bigger - lol!
