Clear dawn is hard to come by where I live and I was wondering if Palmolive can do the job?

Can't hurt to try. Might take a little longer if it isn't as strong as the Dawn.

  3. I heard that some people use Palmolive and it works. I use the yellow Paic (super dégraissant, senteur citron) and it works well too.

blue dawn is all I use, never had a issue with staining, tried about everything out there and have had a few horror stories, always with test heads though.

in most of west-europe, Dawn is just called Dreft
there's was a post about Dawn Platinum, guess what's in store here, Dreft Platinum.
I tested it a year now, no discoloration.
