    Over the past couple of years I have started sculpting faces over carcass casts for every cat or canine mount I do. Cats have their own look and it seems to me that generic facial features just don't work out. When the skin goes onto the proper shape it makes all the difference in the world. It takes a little more time but the end result is worth it.

    Here's a Maine marten from last week with a very unique color (thank you sterling). I love how animated they can be.

  18. Clint I wish I had a bunch of pieces of wood just like that laying around, that composition is very nice!! Is that a Pine Martin?

  19. And the other (only took in 2 last year). They have been cutting the bear tags in half for our area the past couple years and the # of bears seems to be higher than before?
