JRTS question

How many people are still using the Rinehart tanning cream for deer mounts? Do mounts that are preserved with this stand the test of time if they were properly handled and prepared from start to finish? I know these are vague questions. I'm just looking for some input from someone that has a history with this product and have seen the results over a period of years. I was recently told by someone that mounts preserved with this method start to shrink and crack around the eyes after a couple years. Hope someone can lend me some insight on this. I know the product has been around a long time. I would think if it wasn't good it wouldn't still be around. Thanks
