Is that really a NASCAR Race Car at the SCAT Show?

  1. Yep it is! The South Carolina Association Of Taxidermists 34th Annual Show and Competition will be held in Camden, SC on March
    7th and 8th, 2014. The SCAT Show will be held in conjunction with "The 1st Annual Wateree Outdoor Life Festival" on the Campus of
    The Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County. The "W.O.L.F." festival is on Saturday, March 8 and the hours are from10:00am to 6:00pm.
    Demonstrations include: Labrador retrievers, Boykin Spaniels, Red-tailed Hawks(SC Falconry Association) Fly Fishing, and a Mobile
    Educational Trailer with a video simulator from the S.C. Dept. of Natural Resources. Also seminars and presentations on: Logging Practices in S.C. from Late 1800's-Early 1900's, Turkey Calling and Techniques, Taxidermy 101, and one by a fantastic local sculptor.
    Displays, Exhibitors, Food venders, and live music will all be there. The SCAT Taxidermy Competition Room will be open for the festival attendees Saturday afternoon. Festival tickets are: $5 for Adults, $3 for Children 6-16yrs., and under 6 yrs. for free. If you are a registered member of the SCAT Show you have free admission to the Festival. The SCAT show has some very good seminars lined up
    and I hear the competition pieces are going to be awesome.
